A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare

London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (3 yr. Acting / 2 yr. Stage Management)

Rachel Kavanaugh

Performances take place at the Pleasance Theatre, N7 9EF

Midsummer night: a time for love, magic and mystery. Four young lovers try to escape the marriage matches that their parents are forcing upon them by fleeing the city for the nearby woods. Here, free from social convention - and with the mischievous King and Queen of the fairies wreaking high havoc - the young lovers slip into a dreamworld where anything seems possible.

One of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream takes the audience on an enchanting journey, from order to chaos and back again
