Wollstonecraft, Mary Shelley’s life was never going to be ordinary, especially after her introduction to impassioned Romantic poet, Percy Bysshe Shelley.
A woman caught in a tumultuous struggle between her heart and her head, Mary Shelley’s novel, Frankenstein, would go on to fascinate generations to come.
Helen Edmundson’s 2012 play brings Mary Shelley’s philosophy-fuelled and scandal-filled life to the stage.
