After a sabbatical away for two years in his native Sudan, the actor William Elgardi is back to work operating under his real name, Waleed Elgadi. He appeared throughout the summer/autumn of 2014 as the recurring Walid Rashid on Fox's 'Tyrant' created by Gideon Raff and produced by Howard Gordon. Recently he appeared over Easter as Saul in the Ridley Scott produced 'Killing Jesus' on The National Geographic Channel; and later on in the year he can be seen in Tom Tykwer's hotly anticipated feature adaptation of the David Eggers novel 'Hologram for the King' starring Tom Hanks.
