NSDF, in conjunction with Spotlight, will be holding a Showcase of the Festival's most talented student actors. This will take place on 25th August, to an audience of invited industry professionals.
Any student actor aged 16 or over, and up to a year after graduating, who is performing in a show at Edinburgh 07, is invited to apply to audition for the showcase.
Auditions will be held on Saturday 18th August, with a panel including Holly Kendrick (Director of NSDF), James Phillips (Award-winning Writer and Director) and Casting Director Hannah Miller (Birmingham Rep). Students will be invited to perform a 2 minute audition piece of their choosing. Members of the Spotlight team will also be at the auditions to offer help and guidance.
Up to 12 students will be chosen to take part in the final Showcase on Saturday 25th August. The students chosen to be in the final Showcase will also receive a free copy of Contacts and a free professional headshot. It is a fantastic opportunity for any young actor looking to broaden their experience and promote themselves for future work.
