Spotlight launched its Graduate Programme on Monday, with the first in a series of events for final-year students at CDS drama schools.
Seventy students from a variety of different schools came to Spotlight to attend two sessions: first, an insight into the casting process, networking and agents; followed by a hands-on session about coping with commercial castings and cameras, which was held in the Spotlight video-casting studio.
The Spotlight Graduate Programme was launched to give graduating students help and guidance with the business side of being a performer, providing them with information and practical support.
From now until June, panels of industry experts will be covering key issues such as audition technique, TV and commercial castings, agent interviews, networking, and CVs and photographs.
