Jessica Pidsley wowed the judges at the 2009 Spotlight Prize, winning the Highly Commended Female Actor award and since then she’s been a one-woman whirlwind of work, with a variety of acting and writing jobs, and even her own stand-up show. Spotlight at the BBC

The BBC has renewed its unique subscription to Spotlight, which gives every BBC employee instant desktop access to our database of more than 35,000 actors, dancers, presenters and child performers.  Production teams across the BBC search the Spotlight database to cast shows including Eastenders, Holby City, Doctor Who and Casualty, to name but a few.
