Thai and Indian Fusion Fine Dining Restaurant
Today, Silk – named after the traditional Silk Trading Route and a pun on Queen’s Counsel -is the luxurious fine dining restaurant, in the newly opened five-star Courthouse Hotel Kempinski.

The space has been converted from the old Courtroom Number One in the former Magistrates Court building which once played host to Oscar Wilde, Mick Jagger and John Lennon. Silk has a uniquely enchanting atmosphere between its magnificent wall to wall original English oak panels and high vaulted glass ceiling creating an impressive atrium affect. Most noteworthy of all is the original Grade II listed legal furniture, including the judges bench, witness stand and jurys’ bench along with inscription on the panelling of those who formerly sat in the Court.

Renown Chef Bobby Kapoor and his award winning team will take you on a gourmet experience of Thai and Indian cuisine with innovative dishes emphasising on the flavours and spices uses along the route. Based on a sharing concept, courses are available in small sizes offering the diners vast choice of selections from the menu. Food lovers in search of a genuinely exciting new experience will be thrilled by its talented team, innovative menu and unique setting, Silk is a popular addition to the London restaurant scene and an impressive space for those private occasions.
