We don't think that it's good enough just to be a glorified rep. counter or encyclopedia of exercises. A qualified personal trainer should be equipped with the knowledge to observe and calculate your performance in order to keep your program progressing and generate results. Most do not use this knowledge as effectively as they could.

 

You're giving a 100% and so do we...
Every Serene Dynamo client has a file which is updated after every session. This way we track your progress and keep you working at the correct intensity, to get the best results that your genetics will allow for your stated goals. Your PT uses a heart rate monitor throughout your cardio workout and makes written notes of your performance. He also keeps a precise record of the resistance work that you have done by muscle group as well an anecdotal reference on the whole session. Later he will analyze all of this before your next session. Every six weeks a full reassessment is made and your file is updated.  You the client are welcome to look at your file when your PT is not busy and see your progression session by session if you wish. Your PT can clearly explain all the details.

 

Full Program : 6 months, 3 months or 1 month
No more paying the gym and not going or even worse paying, going and not seeing any changes! First assessment session is free with first monthly payment. A completely individual specific and progressive exercise program. Constant monitoring, recording and tweaking for optimal results. Full re-assessment sessions every six weeks. Calorific balance diet plan based on your own calculated metabolic rate. Nutritional brief depending on your desired changes. This is the most effective way to get the results you want. Sessions are twice weekly with cardio activity days prescribed for you to do on your own on at least one other day of your week, preferably two.

 

6 Months Full Program
Book now and pay only £20 an hour.
Introduce your partner who will train in separate sessions and pay £19 each. Train in the same session and pay £30 an hour.

 

3 Months Full Program Min Twice a week (Further Discount on 3 Sessions a Week)
Book now and get 2 sessions a week for only £22 an hour. Introduce your partner who will train in separate sessions and pay £21 each. Train in the same session and pay £32 an hour.

 

Month by Month Full Program
Book now and get 8 Sessions for £25 an hour.
Introduce your partner who will train in separate sessions and pay £22.50 each per session. Train in the same session and pay £36 an hour.

*In some cases a travel expense may apply, this will be discussed at the enquiry stage depending on location of training.

Additional one-off sessions scheduled as part of a 6 month, 3 month or 1 month full program will be charged at the preferential rate.

Subsequent six or three month booked sessions will include one free session in place of the free full assessment session. Payment is required at the beginning of each month. Training will only commence once that month's payment is received. Missed sessions will be rescheduled and not deducted from subsequent month's invoice. One session every six weeks is a re-assessment session.

 

One-Off Session
Can only be done after a full assessment which is discounted in some cases as detailed below. £12 an hour (does not include a program).

 

One-Off Full Assessment Session and Program
This is a one-hour session that provides a personal trainer with the information required to write an effective exercise program. He/she will then write a program from this information and provide you with that program in the next few days. Exchanged for one free additional session if a 1,3 or 6 month program is subsequently taken in that same month. £18.

NB It is worth noting that a second session may be required in order to properly demonstrate the exercises detailed in the program if the client is unfamiliar with exercise techniques in the program. It is strongly advised that this second session is taken in this case as incorrect techniques incur a very real risk of injury which may occur slowly or suddenly.

 

Group Sessions
These are sessions of up to twenty people which anyone is welcome to attend, subject to a blood pressure test and medical questionnaire. These group sessions are designed to cater for all levels of fitness. Warm up, Cardio, Body Conditioning and stretching are the different components. £5 per person.

 

Learn to be your own PT Course
This is a comprehensive practical introduction to the fundamental science of getting the results you want from the time and resources that you have. For many this is a good way to learn what you need to from us and then do it on your own. Includes an information booklet to remind you of the details of the science that you are using in your workouts. £150 (7 sessions).

 

Every Full-Program Client's File Includes:
Full performance and condition assessment covering cardio-respiratory fitness, anaerobic fitness, muscle endurance, muscle strength, flexibility and coordination. Sub components and elements may also exist specifically for each client. Goals are shown relative to current condition in a bar chart format. Planned Full Program which is specific to each client and regularly updated. Session by session detailed log and periodic full re-assessment to track your progression. Current Resting Heart Rate, Ambient Working Heart Rate, Heart Rate Reserve and Maximal Heart Rate. From this a breakdown of current Heart Rate Zones in BPM. Body Composition in percentages of total weight and in kilograms which is also broken down into adipose tissue (Fat) and Lean Tissue (everything else). This is also displayed in bar chart format to track progress towards goals. Current Basal Metabolic Rate and activity profiles which give a Calorific Balance for your nutritional plan. Body Mass Index and Waist to Hips ratio to assess ideal body weight and risks of chronic lifestyle illnesses such as diabetes and coronary heart disease. Blood Pressure and Cholesterol. Individual likes and dislikes, comment and feedback. Goal Planning. We use this knowledge to tweak your program session by session from our progress tracking notes and simply from observation. By reassessing changes in all these details above we keep you moving towards your stated goals as safely and effectively as possible.
