About me:

As a writer and director, I have produced and acted in three of my own plays based on the history of East Anglia. I enjoy the variety that touring (rural and UK) brings to my work on the stage and I am often drawn to new writing. Recently this led me to work with the National Trust on the site-specific Edith in the Beginning.

“Hawker catches a mournful, determined, ladylike tone, suggesting depths in Edith” - Libby Purves, review of Edith in the Beginning.
