Afia recently performed in the Bush Theatre's production of Babylon Beyond Borders; in association with Harlem Stage (NYC), Market Theatre Lab (Johannesburg) & Pequeno Ato (São Paulo). Following this her theatre company 'Pink Theatre' debuted their first piece 'Matter' at the Lyric Hammersmith. Most recently Afia played Leanne in 'Morph' at the Tristan Bates Theatre. A show that explores mental health issues in the youth and across cultures whilst underscored with Zimbabwean folk songs. Afia can currently be seen as Aliyah on CBBC'S BAFTA Award winning show 'Apple Tree House'.
