About me:

Over the past 2 years LAUGHING BRANCHES has been successful in winning numerous awards. In 2017 Missy won the 'Festival Award' at the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival and later that year won the 'Jury Prize' at the Key West Film Festival. The film won the 'Award of Excellence' at the IndieFEST Film Awards. Most recently, "Tala", which she starred in, was nominated at a number of Oscar-qualifying film festivals including the prestigious Santa-Barbara Film Festival in 2020. In July 2020, it was announced that Missy was cast in the plays Hamlet and the Cherry Orchard opposite Sir Ian McKellen.
