Ellen was born-and-bred in Yorkshire but her half-Northern, half-Southern family means she has bases all over the country (London, Manchester, Newcastle, Wiltshire) and can fall naturally into both Yorkshire and RP accents.
Before becoming a versatile, instinctive actor, Ellen specialised in scriptwriting which greatly informs her acting. Her vibrant life has taken her backpacking around the world and working in various jobs from escape rooms to chocolate shops.
As an advocate for diversity, Ellen is the Administrator for THE ACT FOR CHANGE PROJECT and organised their event at The Globe.
