A pro since 1988, SAG-EQUITY British born UK-USA dual national, globally renowned for his myriad solo performances. Recipient of an OLIVIER AWARD for his 2010 production of MORECAMBE & THE STAGE AWARD for BEST ACTOR at the Edinburgh Festival in 2001 plus 3 other nominations in 1998, 2003 & 2011, Guy continues to tour his own work around the world. Guy Masterson has run his own theatre company - Theatre Tours International - since 1991 and has since presented over 150 productions.
He is regarded as Edinburgh's most successful independent producer and his company is Fringe's most highly awarded independent theatre company over 26 years culminating in being awarded its most prestigious accolade - The Jack Tinker Spirit of the Fringe Award in 2003.
As a performer he won the Stage Award for Best Actor in 2001 and has been nominated a further 4 times. His production of MORECAMBE in 2010 won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment. He directed the hit THE SHARK IS BROKEN - which was due to open in the West End in 2020 - but delayed due to Covid-19.
He splits his time as a director and performer, however, recent major roles include Oscar in THE ODD COUPLE and Dr Engelberg in THE MARILYN CONSPIRACY. He is also the "face of Franziskaner Bier" since 2007 in Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
