Joanne recently appeared in the new ITV drama In Plain Sight, playing the lead female role of Detective Iris Laird alongside Douglas Henshall and Martin Compston. She has since been nominated for 2 categories in the IARA awards - Best Emerging Actress and Best Young Actress in TV/Film for her role. Joanne will be appearing in the National Theatre of Scotland's new play "The Whip Hand" at the Traverse Theatre Edinburgh 3rd-27th August and 5th-16th Sept at Birmingham Rep.
