Melissa won the best actress award at the Toronto ReelHeart International Film Festival in 2016. She has recently completed the feature film Schemers set in 1979 Dundee and a black comedy feature film Dead Fred, starring alongside Sandra Dickinson, Susan Kyd and Jane How. She is now working on two feature films Gone to Ground and Rapacious.
