What made you want to be an actor?

I’ve always been so interested in how being an actor allows you to experience life in so many different ways. You’re not just living your own story – you can be anyone and do anything, and that freedom was what made me so determined to become an actor.

Who in the industry would you like to work with?

There are many creatives in the industry who I’d love to work with across the UK. If I had to pick one, it would be Russell T. Davies, who has become one of my favourite writers for television. It’s a Sin and Years and Years are some of my favourite shows. Working with him would be amazing. His characters have so much depth, and he has the ability to create characters that feel so genuine.

What films, shows or books are currently inspiring you?

I recently watched Adolescence on Netflix, and it’s one of the most inspiring things I’ve seen in a while. The acting was incredible, but what amazed me most were the technical aspects. All three episodes were shot in a continuous take, which meant the actors had to know exactly where to be, what to say, and have their timing perfect for the camera movements. I found that so impressive. It must have taken so much focus, preparation and trust in everyone involved.

What would be your dream role?

My dream role would be to play a proper, full-on villain! I love the idea of stepping into a mindset that’s completely removed from my own. It gives you so much depth and freedom to play with, and to be honest, there’s something really fun about being able to get away with anything!
