What made you want to be an actor?

When I was younger, it was all about escaping into different characters. However, as I’ve grown more into myself, acting has become more about storytelling and placing myself into a myriad of different circumstances and imaginative worlds to create my version of characters. Also, dressing up is pretty fun!

Who in the industry would you like to work with?

There are so many people! I’m really enjoying Bella Ramsey’s work and it’d be great to work with them. In the screen world, Rose Glass, Molly Manning Walker and Taika Waititi are making some brilliant work. And, theatrically, I really enjoy Wise Children’s approach, Rebecca Frecknall, and am excited by Nicholas Hytner’s direction at the Bridge this summer.

What films, shows or books are currently inspiring you?

I’ve just started watching the final season of The Handmaid’s Tale, which I think is epic, and I’m waiting to start the second season of The Last of Us. They’re both stories that are so well crafted with characters I’m hooked by.

I’ve also just begun reading The Salt Path by Raynor Winn, which is inspiring me to seize everything life has to offer and makes me want to go to the Coast. I’m also dipping into the love letters between Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West in prep for our final third year production of Orlando. They’re a beautiful insight into their lives and the love they shared.

What would be your dream role?

I’ve always had a draw to ‘Puck’ in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. That would be magical, mischievous and brilliant challenge.
