We’re excited to announce the finalists and winners for the first ever Young Performer ‘Into the Spotlight’ monologue competition
Following the amazing response we’ve had to our monologue competitions over the last year, we decided to launch the first ever Young Performer competition with three different age categories.
Our Spotlight team watched every monologue performance, and we narrowed it down to 30 finalists, 10 in each age category. The categories were the following:
- Ages 4-7 – Theme: Superpower
- Ages 8-12 – Theme: Joy
- Ages 13-18 – Theme: Change
We then sent these shortlisted entries to our special guest judge, Kate Bone, who selected the three winners.
We’d like to thank Kate for taking the time out of her very busy schedule to judge this competition, and even going on to provide feedback to some entrants.
