We’re excited to announce the winner of the first ever ‘Into the Spotlight’ Dance Competition.
We’ve seen an incredible response to our monologue competitions over the years, so this time we wanted to showcase a new skill: dancing!
The first ever Into the Spotlight: Dance Competition was exclusive to our Spotlight Graduate members, but we’ll have another competition for all members coming soon!
We had a brilliant response to the competition, and were blown away by some of the extraordinary talent exhibited. The Spotlight team watched every submission and selected 20 finalists, who were then sent to our panel of judges to select a winner.
The Judges are:
- Will Burton – casting director (In the Heights, Matilda, Jesus Christ Superstar)
- David Grindrod – casting director (The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat)
- Carrie-Anne Ingrouille – choreographer (Six, Hamilton)
- Stephen Mear – dancer/choreographer (Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid)
