In association with the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA) and the European Film Academy, Filmmakers and Spotlight are delighted to present an exclusive panel and screening of The Substance at the Berlinale International Film Festival.
The special event celebrates the European Film Academy’s (EFA) introduction of a new ‘European Casting Director Award’. Congratulations to the casting community on an important milestone in gaining much-deserved recognition for their craft.
Taking place on Friday 14 February at the Berlinale, the exclusive event will feature a panel discussion with The Substance filmmaker Coralie Fargeat and other industry leaders, sharing their insights into the artistic collaboration between casting directors and filmmakers. The panel will be introduced by EFA president Matthijs Wouter Knol and ICDA President Lana Veenker. The invited audience will then enjoy a private screening of the film.
Spotlight members based in Germany can attend this exclusive event by registering via the email sent from The Spotlight Team on Friday 7 February at 11am (CET). Please note tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
