Data Processing 

By purchasing a ticket for this event, you agree that your personal data will be collected and processed by Spotlight, a trading name of Talent Systems Europe Limited. When you book via Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF), your contact and booking information will be shared by LIFF with Spotlight, as event co-organiser, for the purpose of managing your registration, bookings, and event communications. Your data is used to manage your registration, bookings, and event communications in accordance with Spotlight’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and you also agree to receive marketing communications, updates, and special offers from Spotlight. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Consent for Image Use 

You consent to include your image, voice and likeness in photographs and filming of the event. You also agree that we can use these images and recordings for marketing and publicity purposes by Spotlight and its affiliates, and LIFF, including, but not limited to, on websites, social media, or in other publications and promotional materials. 

You can withdraw your consent and request that we stop using your image at any time. We will then take reasonable steps to remove your image from future use, but it may still appear in materials that were already published or in circulation.

Demographic Data 

When booking individual sessions or workshops as part of the Event, you may be asked to provide anonymous demographic information (such as age range, gender, ethnicity, or disability status). This is entirely optional and is used only in aggregated, anonymised form to help Spotlight and LIFF understand attendee demographics, support inclusive event planning, and inform future programming and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives. No individual responses will be linked back to you or used for any other purpose.

Discount and Refund Policy

  • Discounts cannot be applied to tickets that have already been purchased.
  • Please note that if a refund is approved, Spotlight cannot cover any additional processing fees
