Emilia Pérez and Shōgun win big with four awards while The Brutalist, Hacks and Baby Reindeer among other winners at the Golden Globes 2025.
The winners of the 82nd Golden Globes have been announced at a ceremony in The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, hosted by comedian and actress Nikki Glaser.
In the Film category, musical Emilia Pérez took home four awards: Best Musical or Comedy Film, Best Non-English Language Film, Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Film through star Zoe Saldaña, and Best Original Song for ‘El Mal’.
Shōgun saw similar success in the Television category, with four wins for Best Drama Series, Best Drama Actor for Hiroyuki Sanada, Best Drama Actress for Anna Sawai, and Best Supporting Actor in a Series for Tadanobu Asano. Shōgun’s success is unsurprising, having broken the record in the 2024 Emmy Awards with 18 award wins.
Other multi-award winners on the night were The Brutalist (Best Drama Film, Best Actor and Best Director), Hacks (Best Musical or Comedy Series and Best Musical or Comedy Actress) and Baby Reindeer (Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and Best Supporting Actress).
Spotlight are thrilled to see our members winning awards for their incredible performances. Ralph Fiennes won Best Actor for his role in The Brutalist, Jessica Gunning won Best Supporting Actress in a Series for Baby Reindeer, and Richard Gadd’s series Baby Reindeer (which began as a show at the Edinburgh Fringe) won Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
