Adapted from Caroline O’Donoghue’s bestselling novel, this eight-part Channel 4/UCP comedy-drama follows 20-something bookstore employee Rachel and her roommate James as they navigate unrequited love, relationships, and financial struggles in Cork.

Bad Bridgets
Bad Bridgets tells the forgotten story of the women who fled famine-era Ireland for America in a bid to find a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life, only to get caught up in crime and hardship.
The film is set in the 1900’s, and follows a group of women who gained the name Bridget by their employers, in an attempt to anonymise them, and those who ended up in prison who became known as ‘Bad Bridgets’.

Alien: Earth – Season 2

Created by Noah Hawley, the first Alien: Earth series is a prequel to the original Alien film. Not much is yet known about the second season but series one left off with human-synthetic ‘hybrid’ Wendy and the Lost Boys taking control of Prodigy’s research island. We therefore can anticipate an all-out siege as Weyland-Yutani move to reclaim their bioweapons whilst Wendy tries to control the Xenomorphs.
