Shaping the future of talent discovery

The Spotlight Conference is the first of its kind, bringing together performers, agents and casting professionals to discuss the state of the performing arts industry.

This is an opportunity for our community to come together for an open and honest discussion. We’ll cover the challenges and opportunities presented by new technologies and cultural shifts, addressing these urgent issues by sharing our unique perspectives.

Event Information

The Spotlight Conference 2025 tackles the future of talent discovery, honouring industry legends Debbie McWilliams (James Bond), Shaheen Baig (Adolescence) and Ben Frow (Paramount). Key themes include balancing AI with the human element in casting, protecting DEI progress, and managing artists’ digital footprints.

Sessions offer insights on commercial/theatre casting, financial sustainability for performers, and navigating government policy to foster a resilient, equitable industry.
